M1 closed both directions at Yelgun – The Echo

Updatre, 8.29am: One southbound lane has reopened on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Yelgun following a truck crash and large diesel spill.

Original story: Traffic is currently at a standstill between Ocean Shores and Crabbes Creek on the M1 Pacific Highway following a truck crash and large diesel spill at around 7am this morning.

According to Live Traffic NSW the accident took place north of Yelgun rest area. The road is closed in both directions. Currently emergency services are on site and traffic crews are attending.
